Christmas is celebrated in most corners of our culture.  Whether culture acknowledges the Christ of Christmas, He is there.  Not just in a word, but He gets in the way… in a good way.  Jesus is the center of the Christmas celebration.  The story of Jesus’ birth reminds us of hope, peace, joy and love which was delivered in a stable to all mankind due to God’s desire for us!

Wise men declared their dedication to this newborn King of the Jews.  The wise men’s dedication and desire was lavish and generous.  They spent time looking for the signs of Jesus’ coming, planning their trip, loading their gear on animals and then traversing the land chasing the star.  They not only gave baby Jesus gifts, they bowed before Him.

We have the opportunity to show our dedication and desire to celebrate Jesus’ birth through our annual Jesus’ Birthday Gift giving.  This is a wonderful way to give gifts in Jesus’ name for the reason that He came… others!  All gifts listed directly benefit the mission of Jesus locally or globally.

Select the items from the Jesus’ gift list you will give as a family or individually to honor His birth.  Your gifts can be given in honor of or in memory of someone or simply given to love God, love all people and follow Christ together.  Gift cards can be picked up on the table in the lobby.  We will be accepting Jesus’ birthday gifts through Sunday, January 7, as we seek to celebrate and dedicate His birth with a new gift-giving goal.

I am excited to see where our dedication and celebration of Jesus’ birth will allow Jesus’ Kingdom mission to bring hope, peace, joy and love.
