Prayer Meeting Times
Monday | 9 am
Wednesday | 9 am
Join with us in prayer as we leave worry and anxiety behind as pray to God for our concerns and those of the community. “Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus.” Philippians 4:6-7

Facilitated by Pastor Steve | adult group | online (Facebook & Zoom) and in-person group (sign-up is necessary due to limited space) | 1800 Packard Rd., Ypsilanti

Revealing the Mysteries of Heaven
by David Jeremiah
“Heaven does not have to be mysterious. What happens when we die? Is there an afterlife? Where do we go? Does the Bible give any details of heaven? Are there really streets of gold? Pearly gates? Has anyone ever been to heaven and returned with insider information? Find the answers to these and many other questions!”

Facilitated by Ruth Mathieu | women’s group | Tuesdays @ 10:30 am | 5824 Merritt Rd., Ypsilanti | limited space (sign-up is necessary due to limited space; this group is full)

Book of Esther, Apostle Peter and the Last Upper, and the Book of Ruth

Esther: Good battles evil in this timeless story of Biblical heroism. It emphasizes the values of courage, faith and obedience. Peter: Relive the time Peter spent with Jesus, from the Great Commission to the life-changing Last Supper and the Garden of Gethsemane. The Book of Ruth: Is a triumphant love story in the face of adversity. The story reveals the redemption of the Jewish inheritance through the child Obed, who was the grandfather of David.

Facilitated by Margaret Bouchard | women’s group | Tuesday @ 10:30 am | 7293 Maplelawn Dr., Ypsilanti | limited space (sign-up is necessary due to limited space)

Journaling God’s Promises

Journaling has a way of slowing us down, creating a listening posture of the heart, and setting us up for growth. This is a 10-week study of God’s promises that can be found throughout the Bible coupled with the discipline of daily journaling. You will have a daily reading and then will simply spend some time in prayerful journaling. All experience levels are welcome. There will also be a weekly Zoom call (Tuesdays 7-8 pm, starting September 22) to share and connect with others.

Facilitated by Frances Heires | adult group | Tuesday @ 7 pm | Zoom Group (link will be sent)

Learning to Love the Bible (Again?)
What if reading the Bible was more than a discipline? What if it was a doorway into a larger, interconnected, and beautiful story? Learning to Love the Bible (Again?) is a seven-week class exploring what it means to engage with the Bible on its own terms (not ours). The class will explore both Bible study methods as well as learning to explore the historical, literary, and social context in which the Bible was written. The group will include both exploration as well as practical applications of those methods, techniques, and approaches.

Facilitated by Geoff Tittyung | adult group | Thursdays @ 7pm | Zoom Group and in-person (sign-up is necessary due to limited space) | 1800 Packard Rd. Ypsilanti
